Jason Roy is a Rock House Center counselor with extensive experience and a true passion to help people overcome personal challenges and attain life fulfillment through the application of Biblical truth. As a telephone counselor for CBN and The 700 Club, he served nearly 10,000 hurting people from virtually all over the world. As a counselor for Centerstone he has served the greater Nashville area helping many children, young adults, and their caregivers.
Jason’s experience working with college and career aged adults in individual, family, and group therapy has shown him that the most effective solutions to life challenges come in the context of Biblical faith. The message of the book Be Transformed, New Life Awaits authored by our founder and the proprietary counseling process of Rock House Center represent the essence of Jason’s conclusions about how to be most effective as a counselor. The Rock House Center method affirms the desire of his heart to see God’s people understand and apply Biblical principles to foster enduring and life-changing transformation.
Jason particularly enjoys working with athletes of all ages to help them win at the mind game of competing and improve their performance. Through personal experience as a college level golfer, he learned the keys to pursuing excellence in sports performance through sports psychology, Biblical heart transformation principles and refining of swing technique.
Jason has a B.S. degree in psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Master of Science degree in Professional Counseling from Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN. He is also an active volunteer at his church and enjoys reading, exercising, and spending time outdoors.
