Healing Shame and Unworthiness Through God’s Truth

Shame is a powerful lie. It whispers that you are not enough, not worthy, not lovable. It distorts your identity and fuels emotional pain, often rooted in childhood experiences, rejection, or abuse. When shame takes hold, it becomes a lens through which you interpret your life—relationships, decisions, even your view of God.

At Rock House Center, we’ve walked with many who carried the weight of shame and unworthiness. These lies don’t just hurt—they shape behavior, relationships, and spiritual connection. But they are lies, and God’s Truth has the power to break their hold.

In the podcast “Freedom from Shame and Unworthiness,” Beth shares a story of a child told by their parents they were unwanted. That message became a false identity—one of rejection and emotional torment. But through forgiveness, rejecting the lie, and embracing God’s Truth, healing began.

God’s Truth says you are chosen, loved, and valuable. “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 139:14). Shame says you are broken; God says you are redeemed.

Transformation begins when we stop agreeing with the lie and start proclaiming the Truth. You are not defined by what others said or did. You are defined by the One who created you and calls you His own.

If you’ve struggled with shame or feelings of unworthiness, this podcast is a powerful step toward healing. Let God’s Truth rewrite your story.
