Our Founders

Rock House Center Founders: John and Beth Murphy

John and Beth Murphy founded Rock House Center in 2006 with a shared calling to help individuals, couples, and families experience transformation through the application of God’s truth.

Their work is centered on helping people move beyond surface-level struggles by addressing the deeper emotional and spiritual patterns that drive them. This approach integrates personal experience, biblical truth, and Spirit-led insight to create a process that brings clarity and lasting change.

John R. Murphy, MTT, IOP, DNP

John’s work was shaped by his radical conversion at age 26 and his lifelong pursuit of understanding and applying God’s truth. Over the years, he has worked with individuals, ministries, and organizations across a wide range of settings, helping people experience meaningful and lasting change.

His work has been shared with churches, leaders, recovery programs, and organizations both nationally and internationally. John has also spoken at conferences and events, including teaching on heart-transforming leadership to hundreds of pastors in Kenya.

At Rock House Center, John focuses on developing the counseling model, and equipping others to apply biblical truth in a way that leads to real transformation.

Beth L. Murphy, MTT, IOP, DNP

Beth works alongside John to carry the vision of Rock House Center, helping expand its reach and effectiveness. She leads counselor training and plays a key role in developing how the model is applied in real-life situations.

With decades of experience in counseling, teaching, and ministry, Beth has a strong passion for helping individuals grow in their relationship with God and experience healing that impacts every area of life.

Her background includes leadership roles, consulting, homeschooling, and years of ministry focused on women’s growth and transformation through biblical truth.
