Getting Unstuck by Rejecting Lies and Finding Truth

Feeling stuck emotionally, spiritually, or relationally often points to a deeper issue—unforgiveness and the lies that come with it. When we hold onto offenses, we unknowingly allow lies to take root in our hearts. Lies like “I’ll never be free,” “I’m damaged,” or “They ruined my life” keep us trapped in cycles of pain and resentment.

At Rock House Center, we’ve seen how these lies create emotional paralysis. People feel stuck in grief, anger, or fear, unable to move forward. But the good news is that healing is possible—and it begins with Truth.

In the podcast “Getting Unstuck,” John shares his personal journey of forgiving those who deeply wounded him, including family members who betrayed his trust. The process wasn’t easy, but it was transformative. By forgiving, rejecting the lies, and embracing God’s Truth, he experienced emotional freedom and peace.

God’s Word says, “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” (John 8:32). That freedom isn’t just spiritual—it’s emotional and relational. When we stop agreeing with lies and start living in Truth, we begin to heal.

If you feel stuck, ask God to reveal the lies you’ve believed and the people you need to forgive. Then take the courageous step of releasing the offense and proclaiming His Truth over your life.
