Use Your Life Experience to Help Others Find Hope and Healing
If you have a heart for serving God and helping others grow, we invite you to learn more about counseling and training opportunities at Rock House Center.
At Rock House Center, we are always interested in connecting with individuals who are called to help others find hope, healing, and growth through professional counseling grounded in Christian principles and guided by God's truth. We believe meaningful counseling begins with compassion, wisdom, spiritual maturity, and a genuine desire to serve others.
The people who thrive here are committed to personal growth, professional excellence, and helping others apply biblical principles to life's challenges. They bring a passion for serving God, a heart for people, and a willingness to continue learning and growing.
Many of the people serving at Rock House Center have backgrounds in ministry, education, business, leadership, coaching, and other professions where they spent years helping and encouraging others.
Through their own personal journeys, God developed in them a deeper calling to walk alongside others and help them discover the same hope and healing they had experienced.
If that story resonates with you, we'd love to start a conversation.
Our Calling
At Rock House Center, we believe lasting change happens when people learn and apply biblical principles in their everyday lives.
Our mission is to help individuals, couples, and families find hope, healing, and growth through counseling grounded in Christian principles and guided by God's truth.
The people who thrive here are not simply looking for a job. They are looking for an opportunity to serve God by helping others navigate life's challenges and discover a path forward.
Who We Are Looking For
We are interested in connecting with people who:
Have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
Demonstrate a consistent walk with God and a desire to bring Him glory
Have a heart for helping people experience hope, healing, and growth
Possess compassion, wisdom, and emotional maturity
Have developed strong professional habits and a lifestyle built on integrity and excellence
Bring meaningful life and career experience
Have a teachable spirit and a willingness to learn
Have invested time serving, mentoring, discipling, encouraging, or walking alongside others in their spiritual journeys
Many of our counselors have spent years serving others through church involvement, mentoring relationships, discipleship, care ministries, recovery ministries, marriage support, small groups, and other opportunities to walk alongside people during difficult seasons of life.
While these experiences may not have been called counseling, they often helped develop the compassion, wisdom, listening skills, and spiritual maturity that become valuable in counseling relationships.
Your Experience Matters
Some members of our team spent years as educators.
Some coached athletes and students for many years.
Some were administrators.
Some owned and operated businesses.
Some served in ministry and leadership roles.
Others came with extensive counseling experience.
While their backgrounds are different, they share a common foundation: a life yielded to God's leading and a desire to help others find hope, healing, and growth.
We have found that God often uses decades of professional experience, ministry involvement, personal growth, and life lessons to prepare people for meaningful service.
You may discover that the experiences God has used throughout your life are part of His preparation for what comes next.

The process is intentional, relational, and designed to develop both competence and confidence.
Is God Leading You Toward Something New?
Many of our counselors would tell you they never expected to be doing what they do today.
What they did have was a desire to follow God's leading wherever He called them.
